Welcome to our Walk web site!

Since the summer of 2002 we have organized an annual Walk with 100% of proceeds benefitting the SAVE organization. SAVE stands for suicide awareness voices of education. For more information on this important organization, click here.

We feel the Walk is important in helping make people aware of the dangers of depression and in preventing future suicides. We feel the Walk is important as a resource, a reunion, and a sounding board.
It’s a real stigma fighter and since stigma surrounds depression, suicide
and mental health issues, the Walk can be a powerful tool.

Check out our pages and if you want to donate to SAVE

If you would like to organize your own Walk, e-mail me at info@walkformentalhealth.fatcow.com

Whatever you decide to do, I invite you to join us in Minneapolis in August for our Walk or, hopefully, join a Walk coming soon near you!
